- Does it solve the stated problem better than a simpler option?

Evidence labels
Every future scored review should state whether it is based on hands-on testing, manufacturer documentation, expert input, verified specifications or editorial comparison. CatLives will not describe desk research as hands-on testing.
Commercial independence
Affiliate links may fund the site, but a commercial relationship cannot purchase a score, ranking or favourable conclusion. Sponsored placement must be labelled separately from editorial recommendations.
Corrections and updates
Meaningful specification, availability or safety changes should trigger a dated update. Readers can report an issue through the contact page.
